Learning Management System (LMS)

A contract was awarded to Cornerstone OnDemand in November 2012 to provide an enterprise learning management system for NC State agencies. An LMS for NC state employees will provide the following:

  • Centralize and automate training administration
  • Provide access to learning content rapidly and in various formats
  • Monitor and report on learning and development
  • Enable portability of employee training records from one state agency to another
  • Provide "anytime, anywhere" access to learning content and administration
  • Instructor certification tracking
  • Online acknowledgement of information such as policies
  • Scheduling and assignment of training
Full-time, permanent, and temp employees can currently access the system by logging into BEACON and selecting their "Learning" tab.
